Year 11 Design & Visual Communication
Year 11 Elevate DVC focuses on the following key areas: texture and rendering techniques, an architectural major project, digital presentation, and freehand drawing skills. Throughout the academic year, these four topics will be comprehensively covered. Successful completion of each topic is essential for achieving overall success in the course.
Students will require a DVC Kit, available at our school uniform shop premade with all the equipment needed to complete the course.
Students should have a laptop (not a Chrome book) and be bringing this to class - the Adobe Creative Cloud is available for purchase so that students can use Photoshop which is necessary for the course. It is 10$ for the year, please click the link below to buy:
Entry Criteria
Successful completion of Yr 10 DVC is recommended but when this is not possible, consultation with HOD is expected prior to entry. Students must have basic drawing skills and enjoy drawing.
Equipment/Stationery and Course Costs
As this course makes extensive use of digital learning material. It is expected that you will have a laptop or other suitable learning device available for each class when required.

Assessment Information
