Level 2 Digital Technologies Programming
This course is suitable for students who intend to enter tertiary study or employment in any field and is particularly useful to those wanting to pursue a career in the digital creative industries. It teaches students to use appropriate, recognised tools and techniques to design and develop digital outcomes.
The course covers two aspects of the digital technologies field; designing and developing websites using HTML5 and CSS3 and writing Python code to solve problems.
Students complete four NCEA Level 2 internal Achievement Standards and one External Achievement Standard. The total number of credits for this course is 20.
It is recommended that students selecting this subject have previous experience with HTML/CSS and Python.
