Level 2 Japanese
Year 12 Japanese is designed for students who have reasonable prior knowledge in Japanese through junior Japanese courses and NCEA Level 1 Japanese course. The aim is to enable students to understand, speak, read and write with increasing accuracy and fluency in Japanese, in less familiar contexts. Students will gain a good understanding of Japanese culture and traditional values through the course.

Entry Criteria
Entry into Level 2 Japanese requires successful completion of Year 11 Japanese.
Equipment/Stationery and Course Costs
This course makes significant use of digital learning material at various times during the year. It is advantageous for a student to have a laptop during these times. Some learning activities, including assessments, will not be able to be completed without a laptop. There is a $22 course fee, which includes cultural activities and resources.
