Entry CriteriaStudents need to have successfully completed L1 Digital Technology Programming with a minimum of 14 Credits.
Level 2 Digital Technologies Programming
This course is suitable for students who intend to enter tertiary study or employment in any field and is particularly useful to those wanting to pursue a career in the digital creative industries. It teaches students how to use appropriate, recognised tools and techniques to design and develop digital outcomes.
The course covers two aspects of the digital technologies field; designing and developing websites using HTML5 and CSS3 and writing Python code to solve problems.
Students complete four NCEA Level 2 internal Achievement Standards and one External Achievement Standard. The total number of credits for this course is 20.
This is a closed entry course and students are required to have passed the Level 1 Digital Technologies Programming course with 14 or more credits to be eligible.
