13FSP Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mr P. Strang.
Entry CriteriaYou must request entry to this course. When doing so select 6 subjects, one of these being 13PED, and state which subject you would drop if you application was successful.
- It is expected you will have shown a passion and commitment to Westlake Sport
- Proven ability to be self-driven and win in the classroom.
If you are currently studying Year 12 Extension Physical Education, then Achievement Standard 3.1 will be changed out to 3.7 for you.

Level 3 Future Sport
Future Sport is a course catering for our young men who are interested in a career working in sport.
The course will have two dedicated lessons a day and give a taster of the many facets of this growing industry as well as covering the Level 3 Physical Education curriculum (University Approved). One of the great successes of Open Ground has been bringing in outside speakers to talk to the boys about their experiences and this course looks to replicate that with but with those who work in the Sports Industry.

•Community/Sports Management - High Performance Sport, Sport New Zealand, Community Sport, Facility, Event & Turf Management.
