Notes:

  • Many WBHS Year 13 courses require the Year 12 course to be successfully completed to gain entry. Choosing specialist subjects for Year 12 should be thought through carefully to avoid being locked out of a subject in Year 13. Read the course information carefully.
  • If any issues arise regarding the availability of courses in the selection process, please see your Dean or HOD Pathways immediately.
  • If you have questions regarding entry into extension courses, please see the Head of Faculty for that learning area or subject.
  • Some courses have limited space available due to staffing and rooming considerations and selecting a course does not guarantee a place or that the course will run.
  • All students in while in Year 11 will have discussions with their Virtute/Te Kauri teacher regarding their 2024 course selections.
  • It is advisable that students see Careers before selecting courses for Year 12, as some University programmes require specific secondary school subjects to gain entry, and many have recommended subjects as well.
