Level 3 Chemistry
This course extends the students' understanding of fundamental chemical concepts and is designed to provide an opportunity to discuss the impact of chemistry on everyday life. It involves the further study of organic chemistry and in-depth thermochemical principles.
Entry Criteria
Entry into Level 3 Chemistry requires successful completion of a Level 2 course in Chemistry (Minimum of 14 credits at Achieved level, including at least one external standard).
Students must also meet the requirements to study a Level 3 NCEA Award.
Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
This course is eligible for NCEA Course Endorsement.
This course is approved for University Entrance.
