Level 3 Physics
This course is excellent preparation for university Physics and covers a wide range of topics and skills, from the study of planetary motion and oscillations to AC circuits and the Doppler Effect. The broad topics are mechanical, wave and electrical systems, with practical skills taught and assessed alongside theory.
Entry Criteria
Entry into Level 3 Physics requires successful completion of a Level 2 course in Physics (14 or more credits at a minimum of Achieved level). Level 3 Physics is mainly externally assessed, so Achievement in both external assessments in Level 2 is highly recommended.
Students must also meet the requirements to study a Level 3 NCEA Award.
