Level 3 Biology
This course focuses on animal biology, covering themes such as evolution, behaviour and homeostasis. The course is very contemporary, along with the traditional animal and plant behaviour sections. Research and literacy skills are also assessed in various internal assessments.
Entry Criteria
Entry into Level 3 Biology requires successful completion of a Level 2 course in Biology (minimum of 14 credits, including Achieved in at least one external standard)
Students must also meet the requirements to study a Level 3 NCEA Award.
Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
This course is eligible for NCEA Course Endorsement.
